This is a great meal to do during the week or at the weekend (you might need a head start on seasoning the chicken or peeling the potatoes). I like BBQ chicken or meat for that matter. However, I like it when there is added sweetness or spice to it.
Using the BBQ as the base of the marinade you just add seasoning like chilli paste, garlic and some herbs. If you have time to spare you can leave the chicken wings to marinade. If not then you just get to it straight away. I like cooking chicken wings using the oven. They taste really delicious and they go really well with silky sweet potato mash.

Ingredients
Chicken Marinade
-1 Tbsp Chopped Garlic paste
-1 Tsp Chopped Chilli Paste
-1 Chopped onion
-BBQ Sauce
-1 Tsp Parsley
-1 Tsp Tarragon
-1 pack of sweet potato
-1 Tsp chives
-1 Tsp parsley
-1 Garlic Salt
Instructions
Wash the chicken wings
Create the chicken marinade.
Add the chicken wings to the marinade and leave for up 1 hour.
Place the chicken in a Baking tray or perex dish.
Cover the tray with silver foil
Place in the oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius
Peel the sweet potatoes and place in a bowl of water.
Boil the potatoes on medium high heat until soft.
Get a casserole dish and place the potatoes.
Mash the potatoes in butter or margarine.
Add the garlic salt and herbs.
Put in the oven to keep warm.
Remove the foil from the baking tray to allow the chicken to cook.
